Big Mamma is ready and waiting...

After popular demand, Libris Communications is ready to present the Ultimate Pub Quiz #8 to clients, friends and those who are ready for a dynamic, challenging, international evening.

Taking place at the BIG MAMMA PUB - ZG on Wednesday, a venue which perfectly suits this type of event, the UPQ has now become the talk of the town featuring at Profil Megastore and sent out to listeners on Antenna radio. The event has attracted teams of companies from Zagreb but also Rijeka as Primorski radio are now joining in!

As with anything new in Croatia, it takes time to develop ideas and equally there is often a long struggle to convince people around you to positively accept the concept. On behalf of my events team, I would like to thank all those from the very beginning who have supported this concept and who have attended past events when it began back in 2007.

Those who critize - well just one thing to say - 'you can't keep a good man down, nor an idea!'

Good luck and 'FIFA' fair play to all competing on Wednesday and may the force be with you!
A report and photos are to follow.

Libris London Media Tour 09 (19-24 March 09)

When planning a project that takes place abroad naturally, it is essential that everything is well organised and enough preparation and effort has been given to the planning. Libris Communications and Odisea Travel recognize this and have always been applauded on their ability to prepare and implement excellent organization to their trips to the UK.

After a few months of planning Libris Communications set off on the a 6-day adventure through London with a serious Footballing theme!
Going behind the scenes at Wembley, Chelsea and Arsenal stadiums - The thrill of experiencing a Premiership match and meeting Portsmouth Croatian star Kranjcar and Spurs team mates Corluka and Modric along the way! Our journey was captured in a TV documentary (English and Croatian) filming places, interviews, stadiums, opinions and players as our quest to discover why the Premiership is the most popular league in the world unfolded day by day.

An idea that Peter initiated and developed between Libris Communications, Varazdin television Croatia and Odisea Travel, Varazdin Croatia. A special thanks to all involved that made this a success for all.

Northern England Football Media tour part 2 in Autumn is being prepared as we speak! (Manchester, Liverpool, Everton....) Already I have had a number of requests to join the second Football tour - there are limited places so those interested should inform Peter Hopwood to secure a place on the trip!

The documentaries will be shown during May 2009 throughout Croatia on various local Croatian television stations. You will also be able to watch on Youtube once it is available.

Take 2009 by the horns.....

Friday, 12 December 2008

Interesting but true.

A recent health study determined that there are 3 primary reasons people can't cope in life:

•They have a low self-esteem
•They live in the past
•They don't laugh enough

In fact, the same study concluded that we need a minimum of 12 laughs a day just to stay healthy!

A little touch of Varaždin magic.

Creative. Inspiring. Mystical. Quite simply, a little touch of Varaždin magic from the Luminus Gold team.

Libris London 29.11 - 2.12.08

Towards the end of November, Libris Communications in partnership with Odisea Travel once again hosted a group of keen 'Varaždinci' in Europe's most cosmopolitan city, London. Peter showed the group around the capital seeing sights, learning about customs, observing the mix of colours, fashion, people and not forgetting the food!

Despite the cold weather, As Christmas spirit had aleady begun in London, it was a perfect chance to experience the London's Christmas lights, festive shop windows and seasonal atmosphere.

The group was able to experience as much as possible in the short 4 day adventure managing to rise above London in the London Eye having an entire 'pod' for our group, meeting the stars at Madame Tussaud's wax works museum and taking it easy along the River Thames seeing the bridges, monuments and the famous Tower Bridge.

As the nain meal of the day should always be your breakfast, we were all thankful to have our traditional English breakfast at our hotel to give us the energy and strength throughout the day! Any trip to London would not be complete without at least a couple of visits to some London Pubs and naturally, shopping time along Oxford Street!

Tis is for teachers, trainers, learners and literally all who have a interest in teaching English as a foreign language. This is my 3rd visit to the show and I look forward to next year!

Libris wins the bet with Varazdin Television.....

Leading up to the 'big match' Varazdin Television and Libris thought it was time to put two football experts to the test, one being a Croat - Goran Malis (Chief editor) and the other, an Englishman....Libris' Peter Hopwood.

The concept of supporters of the two nations proved to be an interesting one, creating competitive tension in the studio as they both gave an indepth analitical review of the match ahead! The players, the supporters, the duels - nothing was left undiscussed!
Both Goran and Peter showed the main headlines of newspapers from England and Croatia to reflect a little on what the national media are saying about the opposition. Goran seemed to be over confident regarding Croatia's ability to win the match ahead while Peter, without giving too much away, spoke stategically about Capello's tactics and also the 'ones to watch' within the England squad.Throughtout the discussion there seemed to be something visually 'strange'!??.....Peter actually changed into 5 different England training shirts but without any mention of it during the course of the live show.
As both 'pundits' were 100% convinced of victory there was only one way to resolve the situation by laying down a bet! A bet that would put the loser in a rather embarrassing position......

The losing supporter would simply have to wear a 'Skarnicl' (brown paper bag) on their head the following day. Return to the studio for a follow up of the match and congratulate the winning supporter.

Peter and Goran shook hands, looked each other in the eye and knew that the best man would win!

That evening England scored 4 goals against Croatia winning the match with a final score of 4-1. Goran, after the second goal, had already begun to prepare the 'Skarnicl' for the following day.

The next day in the Varazdin television studio, Goran and Peter returned to the same place at the same time - the very same spot where the bet was made. The pictures that follow say it all!

libris creates quiz fever.....

THE ULTIMATE PUB QUIZ!

A 'Cambridge' summer......

Once again, I spent 7 weeks in Cambridge managing an adult and junior study/activity program (Concorde International) for learners of walks of life - from European countries to places as far as Mexico, Chile, China and Japan. Running Concorde's largest centre with both residential and homestay students and also using two residences certainly can provide its fair share of challenges.

In fact, what happens over 6 weeks at an intense, dynamic summer study program often is far more demanding than an average language school's year round term! The success of the program I feel was based on my team of teachers and other staff who made the summer enjoyable both for staff members and also, myself as Centre Director.

I have included below a snapshot tour of the summer in Cambridge to give you a flavour of how the summer unfolded......

Peter has been Centre Director with Concorde since 2004 with a wealth of experience managing his teams of teachers, social organisers and Director of studies working in various locations for the company namely London, Folkestone and Cambridge.

Each year, Peter invites his learners both adults and teenagers to attend the program with small groups or individuals coming from Varazdin, Zagreb, Osijek and even a small group from Austria!
With so many different summer programs on offer in the UK, it's often a challenge to decide which option is right for you or your teenage son or daughter.

You would like the 'teaching content' to be suitable, accommodation to be of a fair quality, an activity program to be stimulating and enjoyable together with an opportunity to discover the many attractions of the UK. All these aspects are essential but most of all safety and security are the fundamental aspects which need to be considered.
Peter is spending 7 weeks leading the program with various limited small groups (including Libris clients) attending throughout July and August.

For more information including a brochure on the range of courses offered which include business English, general English, one-to-one etc. in various locations across the UK (Canterbury, Cambridge, London, Bath, Rochester and Folkstone) please send Peter and email to discover which option suits your specific needs.

In addition, unlike many of the other summer programs offered, Concorde International is a year round study centre, accredited by the British Council in operation for more than 35 years.

Libris attends IATEFL Business English Conference in Paris

Libris was proud to have attended the one-day conference on 7 June, bringing together the best speakers in Professional English training from around Europe. A result of joint collaboration between TESOL France and IATEFL BESIG (Business English Special Interest Group) presenting native speakers based in the UK, France, Germany and Italy with considerable ELT experience.

Talks were on topics as diverse as using technology in the training room, developing intercultural awareness and fine tuning negotiating skills. A full day of refreshing ideas and lots of thought provoking content in order for us improve and enhance ourselves.

Congratulations to the TESOL France and IATEFL BEsig who organized the conference providing further ideas and development within the Business English field. Equally, It was an opportunity for Peter to be back on familiar ground as he onced lived in Paris 10 years ago for a few years - a chance to return to his favourite 'spots' and catch up on old friends as well as making new ones at the conference.

More than just a game......The (5th) Ultimate Pub Quiz

More than just a game, more than a 'bit of fun'....the Ultimate mind game took place on 31st May 2008 at KULT CAFE, the first of it's kind...never been seen before anywhere in Croatia, the UK or on the planet!
The Ultimate challenge....20 teams of companies/institutions playing it out against each other with no less than 100 challengers (5 members per team) to win the Libris d.o.o. Ultimate Pub Quiz!
The participating teams were: Neckermann, AZRA, Grad VZ, Algoritam, Vindija, Fima, Fima West/East, Fima global, Lawyers, Vaba bank, Professors, FOI, Lucerne 'Klapa' ensemble, VTV, HNK actors, High school students, Agency DAN, Varazdin library, and keeping everyone healthy for the evening the Doctors!
The event was in co-operation with Agit d.o.o. marketing agency, Varazdin together with the technical creativity of Goran Malis who was responsible for the sound and visuals on the evening. Some said it couldn't be done, some thought 20 teams would be too many - but, we proved them all wrong by providing a dynamic, up-beat, challenging and original evening's entertainment for our clients, business partners and friends injecting a completely fresh concept to Varazdin's public.
As the evening unfolded, we began to see and feel who were the strong teams amoung us and who needed to get their thinking caps on. There were a few one-off surprises with many teams deciding to play the joker card - obtaining DOUBLE points for each correct answer. Above we see the 'HNK actors' team feeling confident, or was this just an act?
As we steadily went through the various rounds showing knowledge in areas such as Music, History, General Knowledge and Sport, it was time to add a twist to the challenge....the surpise round of 'FIGARO'. 'Figaro' was simply an opportunity for teams to gain 10 golden points by singing a song. Singing a well-known song.....in operatic style! 1 member of each team was represented and one by one, we heard the extraordinary talent fromthe 'operatic' balcony of Kult cafe! From 'Let it be' to 'Vela Luka'. 'Cesarica' to 'My way'....we had them all.

Here's an article from IM&C d.o.o. website regarding the event (3.6.2008)

Tim ALGORITAM pobjednik

Učenici i profesori na THE ULTIMATE PUB QUIZU

Osim pitanja koja smo očekivali, povezanih uz povijest, granice i organizaciju EU, morali smo i prepoznati omote deset europskih filmova, sliku Luca Bessona i kartu lisabonskog metroa.

Iako nismo osvojili nagrade, odličnu zabavu nije nam uspjelo pokvariti ni nevrijeme, a i imali smo priliku čuti glasovne sposobnosti jedne profesorice (Nomina sunt odiosa.).

100 challengers, 20 teams, 1 Ultimate winner!

It's back.
Bigger and tastier than ever before! No, it's not the latest Big Mac burger deal from McDonalds. It's the 5th Libris 'Ultimate Pub Quiz'in co-operation with Agit d.o.o. Marketing Agency www.agit.hr, to be held in Varazdin on 30th May (this Friday) kicking off at 7.30pm. Kult Cafe, Anina 2 (on the outside terrace)

This is no ordinary quiz. This is a battle of the brain. A fight for survival. A challenge like no other. The first quiz back in December attracted 6 companies and then as Libris began to steadily develop we had no less than 10 teams participating in the St. Patrick's day celebration and now, in joint organisation with Agit d.o.o. Libris will be hosting 20 teams playing against each other.

The identity of the 20 challenging teams cannot be revealed until the start of the quiz as teams are already planning their strategic steps to win the title, secretly preparing tricks (some dirty no doubt)to have the edge over their competition.

May the best team win!

Libris London

London's number one attraction, the impressive 'London Eye' which towers slowly above the city giving a birds eye view across London. With the record breaking temperature over the weekend (28C) the hottest in 2008 so far, it brought with it perfect clear weather enabling us to enjoy the view even more.

The Underground, double decker buses, Pubs, trains, picnics, record hot temperatures, singing Croatian ballads and fish'n'chips were just a selection of the adventures that 'Libris' clients got up to whilst on a '3 day flavour of London' visit.

Peter Hopwood, who designed and hosted the 'English language' visit gave a unique insight into the Capital, visiting a number of 'must-see' attractions, providing 'local' knowledge helping clients get best out of their time and come home with an unforgettable experience!
37 Croats, 1 Canadian and an Englishman set off outside Hotel Turist, Varazdin ready to start a journey that will take them to one of the most cosmopolitan, unconventional cities in the world.

The following photos will hopefully paint the picture of how the experience unfolded, including the laughs, discoveries and surprises along the way.

This was a photo opportunity that we just couldn't miss out on! As each of the crew, one by one went up along side the guard we tried desperately to somehow communicate with him: some told him a 'Mujo i Haso' joke, others asked him to smile for the camera but we all wondered what exactly he had hiding under his big fuzzy hat? Sandwiches, a beer or just a packet of crisps? And so this 'plane in pink' took off with 50% more clothes, shoes and ladies 'things' than when it took off from ZG, together with a tired but content group of people knowing that they would all return to the 'Otok' one day in the future!

To take a look at the many other 'memories' of our adventure simply go to www.facebook.com and jloin the 'Libris London 9-12th May' Group (In order to access groups you must sign up, creating a profile)

I also would like to simply thank the group for being 'ready for the adventure' and feel proud to have shared with you the city that I know so well!

In October, Libris is set to jet off to New York for a 6 day tour - there are still a number of places still available so those of you who are interested, please email peter.hopwood@libris.hr for details of how you can join.

The Ultimate 'EU' Pub' Quiz - Varazdin County

As part of the various official events and celebrations across the country regarding European Week (5-9 May) we were commissioned by Varazdin County to prepare and deliver an adapted 'Ultimate EU Pub Quiz' specially designed to include European and EU matters. A particularly more challenging test than the previous 3 Pub Quizzes already held in VZ with teams that included Varazdin County, Development Agency AZRA, Professors from the ist High School and a selection of other companies and institutions.

As the evening unfolded, it was clear that the 'EU High school students' were far from easy challengers, as they were beating a number of teams from the start. Radio North West surprised us all with theie particular knowledge of EU History and Algoritam's overall knowledge of EU affairs certainly was noted! As the rounds went by, the pressure became more intense. During the break to refresh the brain, we were treated with a musical delight from Liljana Bogojovic (HNK actress)with a selection of Top Ten Shakespeare's songs and poems!

By the end of the evening, the results were closer than expected. In Joint 3rd place were AZRA and the 'EU High school students'. A tie breaker question was given of which BOTH teams answered correctly! AZRA then played a fair and gentlemanly move by letting the students go home with 3rd prize!

The 'Silver' award was given to VZ County who showed they were not just pretty faces in the corner but DO kmow the EU! But, in first place, the Ultimate winners of the evening battling in out with another 9 teams was the bookworm team of Algoritam! Tea Solomun (team captain) for the VZ branch commented " we have been at every Libris Pub quiz and we have always been close. This is finally our day of triumph!" It jsut proves that reading their books does pay off!

Enthusiasm vs Confidence

5 Reasons Why Enthusiasm is Better than Confidence

1. Confidence is about you - enthusiasm is about your subject

2. Confidence is about you (again) - enthusiasm is about others

3. Confidence is impressive - enthusiasm is infectious

4. Confidence is certain - enthusiasm is creative

5. Confidence is serious - enthusiasm is fun

Paul Arden - The world's a duller place without Paul.

Last summer, while I was managing a summer language program in the beautiful city of Cambridge, I happened to come across a small, white-covered book that I found whilst wandering through a second-hand store. The title grabbed my attention: 'It's not how good you are, but how good you want to be'

I paid about a pound for it, returned home and began to read. A short piece of reading material (30 minutes) but somehow Paul Arden, the author manages to inspire and refresh the reader with his thoughts and ideas. A fabulous book which I would suggest you read, even if to inject a well-awaited dose of motivation!

I was saddened to hear that only a few weeks ago, Paul Arden, at the age of 67 passed away. Paul Arden spent 14 years as the Executive Creative Director at Saatchi & Saatchi. He was responsible for some of the UK's most successful advertising campaigns – British Airways, Silk Cut, Anchor Butter, InterCity and Fuji. In 1993 he set up the film production company Arden Sutherland-Dodd. His first book sold over half a million copies. The three most recent books are featured here.

David Hilliyard wrote:"I had the great pleasure/fear working under Paul at Saatchis for 6 years.
He was inspirational.
He was terrifying.
He was sutbborn.
He was passionate.
He was an account mans nightmare.
He was a creatives dream.
He was a pain in the arse.
He was a great tutor.
He was brilliant.
Most of all, he was a good bloke.
The world’s a duller place without Paul."

Brainpower in Ljublijana

It's official - The Libris d.o.o Ultimate Pub Quiz has become an International event. Held in the appropriately named 'Old London Pub' in Ljubljana on 27.3.08, teams of representatives of local companies and clients of Sterling Training had the opportunity to test their knowledge, socialize and network with each other within a challenging and stimulating environment. Sterling Training company, who requested the event were very pleased with the outcome - also it was a chance for Sterling and their trainers to further get to know clients and business partners.
As the night unfolded, the atmosphere became one of intensity and suspense as it became clear it wasn't going to be an easy victory for anyone in the pub that evening. Competition was strong, competitiveness was overflowing and emotions were running high by the end of the evening. The Sterling staff team known as 'Brain Boasters' actually boasted quite a lot of knowledge until the very end when they were picked to the post by the Ultimate winners 'Krka'.
Once again, a successful evening that has begun to attract high interest from a few alternative companies and pubs that wish to provide an dynamic, entertaining evening with a difference!

A night of Ultimate brainpower!

The 'Einstein' Algoritam team
St. Patrick's Day(17.3.08) became the occasion to once again, present the Libris d.o.o. Ultimate Pub Quiz to our clients, partners and friends of Libris. After such a positive reaction following the first Quiz (19.12.07) we felt it was time to set the challenge a second time! With more teams wishing to get involved and a much greater interest from various companies, we had a total of 10 teams officially participating together with additional sponsors and teams that could not officailly play due to the location - but were in fact present.
As the stakes were higher and more teams participating so was the intense emotion, passion and frustration that unfolded during the evening. Teams were warned that fair-play was important to respect and under no circumstances was corruption aloud to enter the game.(All blue envelopes were strictly refused - especially those that were empty).
The night of pride began well with teams confidently making their way through the quiz and when they felt the time was right they could play their 'JOKER' in order to gain wonderful double points!
The challenging teams were: VINDIJA, FIMA, AZRA, KUH Legal firm, VTV, RADIO NORTH WEST, GRAD VZ, NECKERMANN, ALGORITAM and PROF.1.gimnazije. Additional sponsors were KONZUM who were the main providers of the prizes and HOTEL LAGUS who kindly provided 'Klipici' and Vindija who generously provided teams and on-lookers with a buffet of sliced cheeses and ham. This was certainly well-appreciated after an intense evening to nourish the mind!
As the evening came to a close, the anticipation grew as any one of 5 or 6 teams could be going home as the Ultimate winners of the evening......the results were given as follows: In 3rd place, a team new to the Pub Quiz, stood their ground and worked as a team running away with the 'Bronze' title RADIO NORTH WEST.

In second place, taking the 'silver' podium was a team that thought hard how to get revenge of being second from last at the first encounter back in December - this proves they know enough about everything, VARAZDINSKA TELEVIZIJA.

The Ultimate winners (by 3 points) were in fact AZRA who had a well-balanced team of people who proudly took away the title for St. Patrick's Day 2008.

Libris is already planning the 3rd Ultimate Pub Quiz which promises to be once more a night full of curiosity, intensity, surprise, teamwork, pride but above all fun! If your company wishes to participate in the next quiz, please contact us in order to guarantee your place (max 5 members of a team) and join us to find the Ultimate winner!
To keep fully up-to-date with the developments of the UPQ join the facebook.com group 'libris d.o.o. Ultimate pub quiz'. The 5 lucky winners of the event finished the evening off in true Irish style by each winning a bottle of Bailey's Irish Cream!

Richard Branson tells all.....

When we talk about innovation, running a business, brand-building and most notably entrepreneurship - there is one outstanding name that comes to mind - Richard Branson. The creator and owner of the 'Virgin' group with over 200 companies across the globe falls into the category of being one of the most exciting brand names on the planet. I have often used Richard Branson's story of how he created his business empire incorporated in my training in the forms of articles, interviews and the various websites of the many different companies within the Virgin umbrella. Hopeully, this interview (TED conference 07) together with the slide below will illustrate the brains behind Virgin's success and help you get a feel of how Mr.Branson's mind ticks....

Online in Croatia

The Internet. love it, detest it, too much of it, addicted to it...whatever our relationship with the 'small screen' it has become a revolutionary factor in our everyday lives both in the office and at home. A recent study of research carried out on a number of European countries including Croatia, shows us where we stand when comparing our 'net' habits with our foreign neighbours. As a common topic of discussion during training, this revealing piece of research answers quite a few questions! Perhaps there are a few surprises that give food for thought????

The Libris 'Ultimate Pub Quiz'

During Christmas week, as companies and businesses were celebrating with each other - drawing a close to 2007, we at Libris decided to celebrate with an innovative and challenging alternative....

On a cold December evening in the centre of Varazdin, business partners, clients and friends of Libris d.o.o. gathered together in 'Blue Moon' cafe ready for a night to certainly warm-up their brain cells, test their knowledge to the limit and reveal who really has what it takes to become heroes of the evening. The Ultimate Pub Quiz! 100 questions - 10 rounds - 30 challengers - 6 teams but only one ultimate winner. A regular event held throughout British pubs with the first of its kind in Varazdin if not Croatia!

We devised the concept as we felt it was important to engage clients in English in a novel and refreshing way. We aim to encourage creative ideas which embrace the language, promote teamwork and equally somehow provides a challenge.

The brain-teasing teams of challengers were: The town council of Varazdin, Varazdin County council, County development agency AZRA, Secondary school teachers (prve gimnazije), Varazdin television (VTV) and finally Korusic, Hrg and Uskokovic legal firm. As the evening unfolded the audience was taken through the 10 round list of questions including Sport, Art, General knowledge, Music and History.
Towards the end of the evening of mind boggling teasers, beer, food and amusement - the final results were announced.

3rd place was awarded to AZRA, second place to the legal firm while the ultimate title of the Libris Pub Quiz went to Varazdin County council.
A successful enjoyable evening which has been strongly welcomed and kicks off the beginning of the program Libris will be implementing throughout 2008. Since this event we have had requests from pubs in Zagreb and even Ljubljana! So it seems the Ultimate Pub quiz will soon be on the road!

To keep up-to-date with the quiz, to view further photos and information regarding the next quiz and to suggest a question which will tickle the brains of our next challengers you can join 'The libris d.o.o. Ultimate pub quiz' group on the increasingly popular www.facebook.com or simply send your suggestions to info@libris.hr

Make great business goals in 2008

I recently found an article regarding business goals for 2008 which I'd like to share with you - perhaps it will give you a few ideas to work on? Feel free to leave us any comments you may have about the article or even some of your business goals for 2008 so we can see what kind of an inspiring 2008 you'll be having....

Make Great Goals in 2008 by Mike Smith

Have you been worried about the new year coming and how many goals you need to create in order to be SUPER PRODUCTIVE in 2008? Yeah, so have I. I’ve even taken it a little further with a huge goal list to complete BEFORE the new year.

I’ve come to realize though through talking to a very dear friend of mine that taking everything one step at a time should be the main focus for 2008. You have to admit that 2007 was a hectic and very busy year so in 2008, we should all be focusing on keeping up the pace, but not taking too many tasks on at one time.I know that my task lists get out of hand quickly, so I want to be a little slower in trying to accomplish 200 things a day and maybe stop and smell the roses every once in a while.

Another way to make goals for yourself in 2008 is to sit back and examine all of the things you’ve done RIGHT this year! It will not only help you gain confidence in yourself and your work but it will also point out the things you’ve done well and will generate a bigger focus on repeating these things over again in 2008. I like to create a list of all the big accomplishments I’ve had in the past year and stare at it for a while.

Regardless of how you do it, try to focus on the great accomplishments you’ve had over the past 12 months in business, in your personal life, in your family life and so on, and try to figure out ways to replicate that in 2008, but build on it and make it better.

Another way to generate some great goals in 2008 is to build on your past success. You can figure out something you’ve done this year, or even recently, and think of ways to build on it and grow it..

Another great way to find a great goal for 2008 is to step back and look at your health. I know that everyone at one point or another has made the “weight loss” goal for the new year but try to really find ways to build on these things and stick to it. Leo from Zen Habits.com has some awesome articles on health hacks and becoming healthier.

I hope this has given you something to set your mind in motion!

Peter Hopwood

Fresh start. Fresh approach.

Welcome to the Libris:info Blog. Connecting one step further with our clients, communicating through ideas, thoughts, events, articles and recent news. All this combined together will in a sense, provide you with an overview of what Libris is about - what makes us tick - why we do what we do.

As 2007 swiftly disappears behind us we find ourselves once again in a new period of 365 days - making new year resolutions that we know we'll probably break so why make them in a the first place? - wondering what's in store for the coming year and trying to burn off the extra pounds gained over the festive period. Perhaps going back to new year resolutions should really be our goals for 2008, goal that we can apply to business and our personal life. The next post should shed some light....
